Culturally safe support work and support coordination across Sydney — from a team that understands culture, community and family because they live it. For Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Indigenous participants, and First Nations communities across NSW — and welcoming to everyone.
Acknowledged the same business day. You meet your worker before anything starts.

Too many mob have had to explain themselves to a provider that doesn't get it — or gone without support that feels safe. We started Tegrity to change that. Tegrity is Aboriginal-owned and Aboriginal-led, with many of our support workers, coordinators and participants Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander or from other First Nations communities. If you need an Indigenous NDIS provider or First Nations disability support in Sydney — this is it. With us, you don't have to translate your culture, your family or your community. It's already understood.
Aboriginal support workers and coordinators who understand how culture, kinship and community shape your goals — and build supports around them, not over them.
You meet your worker before anything starts, and you keep a small, consistent team. No strangers at the door, no telling your story over and over.
Real outings and community participation that keep you connected — including our weekly rec group. Support that helps you live a connected life, not just attend appointments.
Day-to-day support that fits your life — at home, in the community and out on Country. Matched to you, with cultural safety at the centre.
A coordinator who turns your NDIS plan into supports that actually start — and who walks alongside you, mob to mob.
Being Aboriginal-owned is who we are and how we work — it's not a gate. We support participants from every background across Sydney with the same care, consistency and respect. Cultural safety makes us better for everyone. What culturally safe NDIS support means in practice →
A Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is a public commitment a mainstream organisation makes to improve how it works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It’s a genuinely good thing — but it sits alongside a business that isn’t Aboriginal-led. Aboriginal-owned means the ownership, the decision-making and the day-to-day support all come from within community. At Tegrity, cultural safety isn’t a policy document or a one-off training module — it’s who our owners, coordinators and support workers are, and how we show up every shift. A participant never has to explain their culture, and a family doesn’t have to hope the values on a website reach the person who actually turns up at the door.
Cultural awareness is knowing that different cultures exist and having some understanding of them. Cultural safety goes further: it’s the participant — not the provider — who decides whether a service feels safe, respectful and free of judgement. An organisation can be culturally aware after a one-day course; cultural safety is felt in the relationship, over time, when the same worker shows up, listens, and adjusts to what matters to you. It’s the difference between a provider knowing about Sorry Business and a provider that simply makes space for it. What culturally safe support looks like day to day →
Ask direct questions and expect plain answers. Is the provider actually Aboriginal-owned, or a mainstream provider with a RAP? Will I have Aboriginal support workers and a coordinator, and can I meet them before supports start? How do you keep the same team around me? Can I request a worker of a particular gender or background? A genuinely culturally safe provider will answer these clearly and won’t rush you, and you can look for high-trust signals like registration with Supply Nation. If it helps to talk it through, call us on (02) 7265 1558 — no pressure, and we’ll be honest if another provider is the better fit.
Our Aboriginal disability support services cover the two things we do well and nothing we don’t: Aboriginal support work — help at home, personal care, daily living and community participation, including the weekly rec group — and Aboriginal support coordination, helping you understand and use your plan. Both are delivered by an Aboriginal-owned, NDIS-registered team (4050099017) across Sydney’s Inner West, City and Eastern Suburbs, plus Bankstown, Liverpool and surrounding south-west suburbs. If you need something we don’t deliver — therapy, plan management, accommodation — we’ll say so and help you find it. What makes support culturally safe →
For many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants, good support isn’t only about tasks — it’s about staying connected to Country, community and family while getting the help you need. Because our owners, coordinators and many of our workers are Aboriginal, that connection is part of how support is planned rather than an add-on: family and kinship have a place in planning conversations if you want them there, community events and yarns are things a support shift can be built around, and space is made for cultural obligations — including Sorry Business — without you having to explain why they matter. Tell us what connection looks like for you, and we’ll build the roster around it.
Plenty of people search for Indigenous NDIS support or an Indigenous disability service — and if that’s the word you used, you’re in the right place. We say Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples out of respect for distinct communities, cultures and identities, and because that’s how our own team describes themselves. Whichever term you searched, the support is the same: culturally safe, Aboriginal-owned NDIS support work and support coordination, delivered across Sydney.
If you're looking for a culturally safe provider for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander participant, we make it easy. We confirm cultural fit and capacity before anything starts — and we acknowledge every referral the same business day.

"Tegrity matched me with an Aboriginal Support Coordinator and Aboriginal Support Workers — support I'd found really difficult to access anywhere else. Having a team that understands my culture means everything."

It means support where you don't have to explain or justify your culture — your worker already understands. In practice that's respect for family and community, listening before acting, flexibility around cultural and community obligations, and the same consistent workers building genuine trust over time instead of a rotation of strangers. As an Aboriginal-owned team, that's simply how we work.
No. We don't ask you to prove your identity. If you identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and want culturally safe support, you're welcome — and so is everyone else. Tegrity is Aboriginal-owned and open to all; how you'd like to be supported is your choice.

The NDIS supports are the same — support work, coordination, community participation. What is different with an Aboriginal provider is cultural safety: your worker already understands how culture, family and community shape your life, so you do not have to explain or justify it. For many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants, this makes the difference between support they can actually use and support they walk away from. For a fair, detailed comparison, see Aboriginal-owned vs mainstream NDIS providers.
