Our support workers cover the wider Maroubra area, not just the beach end — Pagewood, Hillsdale and Matraville on the western side, Malabar to the south, and South Maroubra in between. For Pagewood participants, Westfield Eastgardens is the practical anchor: level, undercover, with the shops, food court and everyday errands in one place — well suited to independence practice on days when an outdoor outing isn't the goal. The L3 light rail at Kingsford is a straight run up Anzac Parade when the plan heads into the city.

On the coast side there's more variety than people expect: Mahon Pool, the rock pool below Jack Vanny Reserve at Maroubra's north end; the calm, sheltered water of Malabar Beach inside Long Bay; and the Malabar Headland walk for bigger days. Randwick City Council makes beach wheelchairs available in season, and the Bowen Library at Maroubra Junction covers the quieter, low-pressure end of community access. We match the outing to the participant's goals and energy, not the other way round.
