What support looks like

Day-to-day support built around you

Support work for people with intellectual disability is hands-on, practical help with everyday life — done at the person's pace, built around their goals, and delivered by a consistent worker who actually knows them. It's funded from the Core budget in an NDIS plan and covers a wide range of activities.

Daily living

Home routines & life skills

Help with home routines, personal care, cooking, managing a weekly schedule and the practical skills that build independence over time — done at your pace, without rushing.

Out & about

Community participation

Getting out and staying connected — whether that's shopping, hobbies, a local outing, catching transport, or our Wednesday social and rec group. More on community participation →

Social & confidence

Social connection & appointments

Support to attend appointments, connect with friends and community, and take part in social activities — with a familiar face alongside, not a stranger.

Why consistency matters

Familiarity is part of the support

For many people with intellectual disability, trust takes time to build — and that trust can only grow when the same worker shows up. We built our service around this.

Named workersYou are matched with a named, consistent support worker you meet before anything starts — not a different person each shift.
No revolving strangersWe keep the same small team around you. If a shift has to change, we tell you first and offer a replacement you already know.
Roster in advanceYour roster is visible a full fortnight ahead — no surprises, nothing last-minute. Predictability matters.
Meet before it startsYou meet your worker before supports begin — so the first day isn't the first time you've seen each other.
Rematch if neededIf the fit isn't right, say so and we rematch — no awkward conversations, no disruption to your plan.
Sydney — Inner West, City & Eastern Suburbs

We deliver support work across inner-west and eastern Sydney — including Redfern, Newtown, Marrickville, Surry Hills, Randwick, Bondi and Glebe. We are also a proudly Aboriginal-led, culturally safe team — and everyone is welcome.

Building independence

Support that helps you do more

Good support isn't just about getting through the day — it's about building confidence and skills over time. Our workers help with the practical things that grow independence: catching the bus, making a meal, managing a routine, getting out into the community independently. We celebrate each step forward, however small.

Life skillsCooking, cleaning, budgeting, managing a schedule — practical skills that matter day to day.
Getting aroundSupport to use public transport, navigate the local area, and get to where you need to go.
Social skillsJoining in, making connections, and taking part — through our Wednesday group and out in the community.
Appointments & adminSupport to attend medical and other appointments, and help with paperwork or day-to-day admin tasks.
