What support can look like

Day-to-day support shaped around complex needs

When someone has complex or high support needs, the detail of how support is delivered matters enormously — not just what gets done, but who does it, how well they know you, and how carefully the information passes from one shift to the next.

Daily living

Personal care & daily routines

Help with personal care, morning and evening routines, meals and the everyday tasks that keep life running — delivered carefully, consistently and at your pace by workers who know how you like things done.

Community access

Getting out & staying connected

Support to get out into the community — appointments, social outings, local activities — with a worker who already knows you, so you're not starting from scratch every time. See also: community participation supports.

Continuity

Consistent workers & careful handovers

The same small team, rosters planned a fortnight ahead, and careful written and verbal handovers between workers — so nothing important gets lost between shifts. We also work closely with families and support coordinators.

Why it matters

For complex needs, consistency isn't a bonus — it's the job

Families and coordinators tell us the same thing: for people with complex needs, unfamiliar workers create real problems. A team that genuinely knows someone can spot changes early, respond appropriately and build real trust over time.

The same facesA small, consistent team you meet before supports start. Not a roster of strangers who have to re-learn your needs each week.
Careful handoversWritten and verbal handovers between each shift — nothing important gets lost between workers when supports are complex.
Roster in advanceYour roster is planned and visible a full fortnight ahead — no last-minute surprises, and no scrambling to fill shifts with unfamiliar cover.
Working with your teamWe work closely with families, support coordinators and allied health professionals — keeping communication open and consistent.
No silent no-showsIf a shift has to change, you hear from us first with a replacement offered — someone already known to you where possible.

What we do — and don't do

Support work and coordination, honestly described

Tegrity provides NDIS support work and support coordination — experienced, consistent workers for daily living, personal care and community access. We are not a clinical provider and do not offer therapy, nursing or behaviour-support practitioner services.

Some people with complex needs also require high-intensity clinical supports — such as PEG feeding, complex bowel care, or ventilation — which require workers with specific NDIS high-intensity competencies. That is not in our scope. If you have those clinical requirements alongside your everyday support needs, talk to us and we will be upfront about whether we are the right fit, and whether we can work alongside another provider who covers the clinical piece.

If you need experienced, consistent support workers who will genuinely know you — for daily living, personal care, community access and careful coordination with your team — we'd love to talk.

Inner West & Eastern Sydney

We deliver support across Sydney, with a focus on the Inner West, City and Eastern Suburbs. We are also a proudly Aboriginal-led, culturally safe team — and everyone is welcome.

Common questions

Complex needs support — your questions answered

Do you support people with complex or high support needs?

Yes. We work with adults across inner-west and eastern Sydney who have complex and high support needs — including people who need careful personal care, consistent daily routines, close coordination with families and allied health teams, and workers who really know them. We focus on daily living, personal care and community access, delivered by a small, consistent team.

Can you provide high-intensity clinical supports?

We're honest about this. Tegrity provides support work and support coordination — not clinical, therapy or behaviour-support practitioner services. Some participants with complex needs also require high-intensity clinical supports (such as PEG feeding, complex bowel care or ventilation) that need workers with specific NDIS high-intensity competencies. That's not what we do. If you have those clinical requirements alongside your day-to-day support needs, get in touch — we'll be upfront about whether we're the right fit, and we can work alongside a provider who covers the clinical piece.

Why does worker consistency matter so much for complex needs?

For people with complex or high support needs, a revolving roster of unfamiliar workers isn't just inconvenient — it's genuinely risky. Consistent workers understand individual routines, communication styles, sensitivities and preferences built up over time. They notice changes early and hand over carefully. That's why we roster the same small team, plan rosters a fortnight ahead, and do careful written and verbal handovers between workers — consistency is the work, not an afterthought.

Which Sydney areas do you cover?

We deliver support across Sydney with a focus on the Inner West, City of Sydney and Eastern Suburbs — including areas such as Redfern, Newtown, Marrickville, Surry Hills, Randwick, Bondi and Maroubra.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Yes. Tegrity Services is a registered NDIS provider (registration number 4050099017), registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. NDIS-registered providers are required to meet the NDIS Practice Standards, which includes worker screening and safeguarding requirements — important for participants with complex needs.
