What support can look like

Practical day-to-day support — not therapy

NDIS support workers aren't therapists or clinicians. What they do is practical, hands-on and driven by you — helping with the everyday parts of life that matter most, in a way that suits your pace, your preferences and your goals.

Daily life

Personal care & daily living

Help with getting ready in the morning, personal care routines, meal preparation, home tasks and the everyday things that keep life running — done your way, at your pace.

Out & about

Getting out & community access

Support to get out and stay connected — shopping, appointments, hobbies, transport and everyday outings across inner-west and eastern Sydney. Mobility assistance in daily life, not clinical care. More on community participation →

Connection

Social life & the Wednesday group

Staying socially connected matters. That includes our Wednesday social and recreation group — a real outing with other participants — plus individual social support, activities and time with people you choose to spend time with.

Appointments

Support to appointments

Getting to and from medical or allied health appointments, waiting with you, and helping with anything that comes up along the way — without you having to manage it alone.

Home

Help around the home

Practical help inside the home — tidying, laundry, grocery runs and the household tasks that can stack up. Done in a way that respects your space and how you like things.

Independence

Building independence

Support to do more over time — from planning your week, managing routines and navigating public transport, to anything you want to get better at and do more of yourself.

Why consistency matters

The same worker changes everything

When you're living with cerebral palsy, consistency in your support team isn't a nice-to-have — it's what makes support actually work. A worker who knows you, knows your routines, knows how you communicate, and knows when something's off can make a real difference every day. That's not common. We built our service around it.

Named workersYou're matched with a small, consistent team — not whoever happens to be available that week.
Meet before you startYou meet your workers before supports begin. If someone isn't the right fit, say so — we rematch you.
Roster a fortnight aheadYour roster is visible a full fortnight in advance — no last-minute scrambles, no surprises.
No silent no-showsIf a shift has to change, you hear from us first with a replacement offered — you're never left waiting.
Transparent invoicesEvery invoice line maps to a shift you actually received, per the NDIS Pricing Arrangements. No mystery charges.

Common questions

Cerebral palsy support — your questions answered

Do you support adults with cerebral palsy?

Yes. Tegrity provides NDIS support work for adults with cerebral palsy across Sydney — with a focus on the Inner West, City and Eastern Suburbs. Our support workers are consistent, patient and practical, and you meet your worker before anything starts.

What can a support worker help with for someone with cerebral palsy?

A support worker can help with personal care and daily living, getting out into the community, attending appointments, social activities and recreation, help around the home, and building independence in everyday tasks — at whatever pace suits you. Support workers don't provide therapy or clinical services; they're there for the practical, day-to-day side of life.

Can I keep the same support worker?

Yes. We build our rosters around consistency — you get a small, named team you meet before supports start, not a different person each visit. Consistency matters, especially when mobility assistance and personal care are involved. If the fit isn't right, we rematch you, no awkward conversations.

Which Sydney areas do you cover?
