Tegrity Services FAQs

We aim to let you understand the entire scope of NDIS so that you will be able to maximise the benefits anchored with it.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme or NDIS is an initiative of the Australian government to provide funding for support and services needed by individuals with permanent disability.

To be able to access the NDIS funding, you will need to be approved by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). They are the ones that will assess if your disability meets their criteria, specifically if you are in an area where the NDIS is available.

There are specific criteria to be eligible for NDIS. You can check the NDIS website for specific criteria.

Visit the NDIS website and complete the Access Request Form. Once done, you have to provide proper documentation about your eligibility, and after 21 days they will get back to you about the result of the NDIA’s assessment regarding your application.

An NDIS support plan is tailor-made according to your needs and goals. This will include the plan of assistance to achieve your goals. You and your NDIS provider will discuss together your support plan. You can review it regularly to see if there will be changes according to your needs.

Work closely with your NDIS provider and clarify if your needs are aligned with your goals. Regularly review your support plan and if you want adjustments, you can do so.

Yes. You have a voice in your support plan. You can make some alterations at any time if you feel you have a change in your need or goal.

The NDIS funds cover a wide range of services. This includes housing and accommodation assistance, medical and healthcare services, respite care services, and a lot more. To get to know more about the other services, you can contact directly NDIA or your chosen NDIS provider.
